Scientists have bred pigs that glow in the dark.
I’m at a loss for words. I can understand some of the scientific research options they are trying to open up, but that’s just weird. One step closer to green ham and eggs, I suppose. I wonder if the phosphorescent effect is only in the skin (mmm! glowing pork rinds!) or all throughout the meat.

They say that the organs are green as well, so it’s possible that the muscular tissue is slightly green. I’m not sure if the phosphorescence would survive the heat of any cooking process, though.
Of course, this means we’re one step closer to My Little Pony come to life.
