Happy Birthday: Instant Coffee arrives on the scene.

Like it or not, you can’t deny that instant coffee has had a major impact on our caffeine habits over time. In the absence of other alternatives, something is better than nothing. Here’s raising a freshly brewed French Press cup of coffee to you, Sartori Kato.

Marking the anniversary of the patent of instant coffee; it’s kind of like honoring the inauguration of W. It was a crappy product, but you can’t deny it had an impact. (And that’s the end of my political commentary.)
