What?) and make a day of it. It's a hell of a lot of work I just went through for one duck - I don't mind, but I wouldn't be opposed to doing a few at a time next time. @Todd - Awesome! They are two very different styles, but I'm glad you're reaping the benefits. :) Reinhart has plenty of other awesome books; you might also check out "Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a day" and "Healthy Bread in 5 minutes a day" - the title sounds a bit quack-ish, but the people behind it are really talented. @Melissa – We’ll have to split a few ducks sometime (Weight Watchers? (Though the first attempt at pain à l'ancienne didn't go as planned, but as Reinhart says, it was still tasty.)
